Temporary Closing

WHAT A YEAR THIS WEEK HAS BEEN.
We have noted recently the strange phenomenon that every day seems to be a week long, and every week, a year. Everything is changing and evolving; it’s hard to keep up and get your head around it all. And now here we come again, announcing a change that we don’t want to make, but we know we must.
Earlier this week, we announced that we were temporarily closing MOXIE Food + Drink, and keeping Trouble and Sons Pizzeria open for curbside pickup. We had three good days of serving takeout food from Trouble curbside and seeing your kind smiles (from a safe distance). But we came home last night still worrying about our guests and our staff, about our kids and yours, about social distancing and, once again, the balance we are trying to maintain in an environment that is constantly changing around us.
So after much discussion, we have decided to temporarily close Trouble and Sons, too, effective today. We hope you understand.
We keep thinking about late spring/early summer when all this has passed and the sun is shining. We will sit on the MOXIE or Trouble patio with you and enjoy the sun on our faces. We will raise a glass of wine and toast our friends and neighbors. We will “party like it’s 1999.”
But for now, it’s time to really hunker down. Follow the CDC-recommended guidelines. And wait out this storm.
